Arnold Pharmacy's mural unveiled!

Joe Barsin was very honored to be commissioned to create an illustration for our favorite pharmacy, Professional Pharmacy Group in Arnold, MD (JEB Design's home town). He featured several of the town's landmarks, including the original pharmacy which was located where the current CVS stands. We think the locals know where to go today.

Thank You to owner, Neil McGarvey, for supporting a local artist and always providing wonderful service for our community with his three locations in Arnold, Annapolis and MedPark in the Anne Arundel Medical Center. Joe Barsin now has his work on display at all three locations.

USNA Class of 1966 Reunion a big success!

USNA CLASS OF 1966 COMMISSIONED JOE BARSIN TO ILLUSTRATE THIS PRINT FOR THEIR 50TH REUNION HOMECOMING CELEBRATION IN ANNAPOLIS, MD.
JIM GAVIN, USNA '66, AND JOE BARSIN, ILLUSTRATOR, TOURING USNA
It was a great honor for Joe Barsin to be asked to create an original illustration for the USNA Class of 1966's 50th Reunion. His work was unveiled to the Homecoming Celebration in Annapolis on October 22, 2016. Joe Barsin worked closely with Jim Gavin (pictured together) on developing the sketches for Executive Committee approval. The highlight of this experience involved touring the Academy and discussing the changes that have been made since 1966. We wanted to make sure the illustration reflected a midshipmen's experience during their time on the U.S. Naval Academy campus, which included Bancroft Hall, The Naval Chapel, Tecumseh statue, Navy Bill the Goat statue (which has been moved since 1966) and the right of passage for all midshipmen, placing the cover onto of the Herdon Monument.

Joe, The USNA Class of '66 truly appreciates your effort and great design for our 50th Reunion illustration. You captured our memories of the Naval Academy.

All the Best, Jim Gavin
Class of ’66 Executive Committee Officer
