11" x 14" poster versionWashington D.C. embodies the spirit of American Freedom and is most beautiful each spring during the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival. 2012 is a special year since the country will be celebrating the centennial year of the gift of the Cherry trees from Japan.
This is Joe Barsin's most recent artwork. It is the first in a series that will be celebrating the Mid-Atlantic Region. He is now working on "Baltimore" which will focus on the 2012-1812 Bicentenial celebration of the War of 1812 and the 1814 writing of the "Star-Spangled Banner" during the British bombardment of Fort McHenry.
